The family cottage kitchen,
a story of connection and craft.

Turning a dream kitchen into a story that connects.

I led the development of The Family Cottage Kitchen case study, a heartfelt campaign that showcased how design can transform not just a home, but how a family lives within it.

See the Case Study

My Role

I managed the project end-to-end, including:

  • Identifying the story: I worked with the Marketing team to identify the client case study, recognising Lara’s journey as a relatable narrative for our audience - aspiration, hesitation, and ultimate transformation.

  • Client relationship: I liaised directly with Lara to understand her motivations, challenges, and emotional connection to her new kitchen. Building this rapport was key to creating a genuine, comfortable on-camera experience.

  • Creative direction: I developed the concept and storyline for the case study, shaped interview questions to bring out authentic emotional beats, and planned the visual structure to support the narrative.

  • Production management: I coordinated the entire shoot, from booking the photographer and stylist, to directing our in-house videographer, planning the schedule, and overseeing creative execution on the day.

  • Activation: Post-shoot, I collaborated with our Marketing and Social Media Managers to roll out a cohesive campaign across digital, email, print, and social platforms, ensuring the story connected consistently across every touchpoint.

“Coming home to this peaceful, beautiful space really helps me recover and reset. It’s not just a kitchen; it’s a sanctuary.”

— Lara Gibbs

The Outcome

The campaign captured both emotional authenticity and brand aspiration. It resonated with audiences across all channels, performing strongly in engagement metrics and reinforcing Tom Howley’s position as a brand that delivers more than luxury design: it delivers transformation.

The Family Cottage Kitchen remains one of our most well-received case studies, praised for its warmth, sincerity, and visual storytelling — and continues to feature prominently in our multi-channel brand communications.
